When do I need an emission test?

It depends on the year your vehicle was manufactured. If your vehicle is less than six years old and was manufactured in an odd numbered year, your emission test will be needed every other year in odd numbered years. Conversely, if it was made in an even year, it will need an emission test every other even year. If your vehicle is older than six years, it needs an emission test every year before you register it.
