Oustanding Tire
I couldn’t be more impressed with these tires. I put them on my Shelby Mustang expecting to lose performance over the OEM Michelin Cup 2’s. Granted, these do not give the same dry grip — but they allow me to drive year round in NY/NJ– and are EXCELLENT in the cold and rain. First week I had them it was a serious downpour in October and the tires were rock solid. However, I wouldn’t advise driving them in very snowy or icy conditions – that’s not what these are made for- stay home. Also impressed by the lack of NVH on these tires either which I also like- super quiet. I can’t speak to the tread-wear since mine are still fairly new but I’m not concerned if I have to replace these sooner than expected. They give me the freedom to drive my car all-year and the confidence to drive “spirited”. In my opinion, these are a great alternative to High-performance summer tires both in performance and cost — and will allow you to get that sports car out of the garage from Oct-Feb.

Poor Tread Life
Police Interceptor will probably get about 17,000 miles. The original Good Years did 33,000 miles. Very poor showing for a 500 mileage rated tire. Seems that those ratings are meaningless.

low milage
Had these on my Mercedes CLK 500 and I do make fast breakaways into traffic as that has become a necessity with all the traffic on the road these days. A lot of rural travel to and from work: low noise, good handling dry or wet, 11,600 miles and they are almost bald. Do I recommend? More grip= less mileage, you get what you pay for.

Great traction
I bought these to replace the Goodyear’s on my Dodge Challenger. Very happy! Quieter ride. Smoother ride. Much improved traction. So far, very happy with my purchase. I won’t be driving in the snow, and didn’t rate options I haven’t observed myself.
